Stripes, Blooms & Birthday Vibes!

This week’s challenge was the perfect excuse to play with bold colours and bring some vibrant stripes into my cardmaking! I reached for the Painted Stripes background stamp and created this colourful birthday card using a rich combo of Strawberry Slush, Daffodil Delight, and Misty Moonlight.

✨ Ink Blended Stripes
I ink-blended each of the colours—Strawberry Slush, Daffodil Delight, and Misty Moonlight, on Basic White cardstock to create this beautifully soft striped background. The slightly deeper palette gave it a fresh twist: bold enough to pop, but still soft and cohesive thanks to the blending.

💐 Dimensional Details
I layered the stamped and die-cut florals from the Impressions Abloom set, coordinating each bloom with its matching stripe for a harmonious look. A stitched rectangle panel frames the Happy Birthday sentiment just right, adding a clean, finished touch.

This card came together in a flash, and looks like a million bucks!
