Fresh Florals & a Pretty Colour Combo

This week’s Global Design Project challenge featured a beautiful colour combination: Old Olive, Strawberry Slush, and Pretty Peacock, and it gave me the perfect excuse to finally dive into the Spotlight on Nature bundle as a full set.

✨ Marker-Coloured Stamping
For the focal floral image, I used my Stampin’ Write Markers directly on the cling stamp. Pretty Peacock for the stems and flowers, and Old Olive for the leaves. I can’t believe this was my first time using markers this way… the results were so soft and organic! I’ll definitely be doing this again.

🩷 In-Colour DSP & Finishing Touches
The patterned paper is from the 2024–2026 In-Colour 6×6 DSP stack, and it added just the right amount of playful texture behind the circle element. To finish it off, I added a bow using white ribbon, then gently frayed it for an added delicate detail.

✨ Loose Frosted Dots gave just the right amount of shimmer and dimension, tying everything together in a sweet, simple way.
